چکیده
The processes leading to the assembly of Rodinia supercontinent through Grenvillian collisional orogeny are relatively well known. In contrast, accretionary orogenic occurring at periphery following poorly understood. To fill this gap, we have identified metamorphic rocks in Mongolia collage Central Asian Orogenic Belt, where numerous data testify for Meso- Neoproterozoic magmatic reworking. tectono-metamorphic evolution peri-Siberian tract Belt is mainly characterized by late Proterozoic–early Cambrian (Baikalian) cycle. Repair at the nuclear periphery
T elomere association with nuclear pores is critical not only for transcriptional silencing but also for effi cient repair of double-stranded breaks in the subtelomeric region of budding yeast chromosomes, according to Therizols et al. (page 189). As in many organisms, yeast telomeres localize to the nuclear periphery. To determine whether nuclear pore proteins are involved in telomere tetherin...
متن کاملPeridotites from the Mariana Trough: first look at the mantle beneath an active back-arc basin
Two dives of the DSV Shinkai 6500 in the Mariana Trough back-arc basin in the western Pacific sampled back-arc basin mantle exposures. Reports of peridotite exposures in back-arc basin setting are very limited and the lack of samples has hindered our understanding of this important aspect of lithospheric evolution. The Mariana Trough is a slow-spreading ridge, and ultramafic exposures with asso...
متن کاملUplift-driven climate change at 12 Ma: a long N18O record from the NE margin of the Tibetan plateau
Carbonates from fluvial and lacustrine sediments were sampled from multiple measured sections in the Linxia basin of western China. Based on textural and mineralogical evidence, lacustrine carbonates are primary precipitates from lake water. A 29 million year record of the oxygen isotope composition of meteoric water is inferred from the N18O values of these carbonates. This inference is based ...

15 صفحه اولAt the periphery of architectural history – looking at Eastern Europe
Long-time absent or only briefly mentioned for those examples fitting into the schemata, Eastern Europe has started to integrate in the past few years the mainstream discourse of architectural history. The reason of this inclusion is to be sought for not only in a certain globalization – both of the practice and of the academic discipline – but also in the mutations operated recently in the fie...
